May 2019: can we stay a bit longer? . "we want to cast off the shackles Brussels binds us with" . October 2019: ???? Probably a General Election. Itching to get out on the hustings again?

BoJo a bit evasive as usual and answering a question not asked. "— Accepted Trump’s approach is “undiplomatic” but refused to criticize the president or his Twitter comments. “He has strong views about Brexit and he has strong views about the deal,” Johnson said. Pressed repeatedly on whether it is right for a foreign leader to criticize a British PM and her ambassador, he eventually replied: “I think most people feel … I don’t want anybody else telling us what to do. Or anybody else criticizing our government, I suppose is my feeling. But if you ask me whether I think the Brexit negotiations have been brilliantly handled, I don’t think so.” — Suggested Nigel Farage’s success in defeating the Tories at the European election may actually help Britain secure a better deal. Listing reasons why he believes Brussels will now renegotiate, Johnson said: “They have now got 29 Brexit MEPs in the European Parliament. I’m not certain they want to have Ann Widdecombe lecturing them about their deficiencies.” — Denied his unpopularity with EU leaders will be a problem when seeking an improved deal. “It’s not true. I had great friends in Brussels, I had great relations with people around the table at the European Council.” — Said Europe must realize Britain will be gearing up for no deal from day one of his premiership. “They know we are serious.”" www.politico.eu/newsletter/london-playbook/politico-london-playbook-boozing-with-bojo-a-special-relationship-last-nights-telly/The brexit looks to be harder and harder.

In the Torygraph today there's a rather public spat between Reese-Mogg and Phillip Hammond, an exceprt below: "Mr Rees-Mogg said "the Treasury's deeply flawed economic models do not give a true picture of the situation" in response to Mr Hammond's assessment that leaving the EU with no-deal would cost £90bn. He argued that Mr Hammond's prediction was "silliness" and that in actual fact it could boost the economy to the tune of £80bn. Mr Hammond took to twitter to say: "Happy to debate scale of negative impact of no deal on the economy - but terrifying that someone this close to a potential future government can think we'd actually be better off by adding barriers to access to our largest market."Now I don't have a horse in the race but it seems to me the two views are totally opposite and the two men are two of our most senior Parliamentarians. So if 50% of that duo doesn't understand reality, how the heck is Joe Public supposed to understand! If it helps any, RM quotes extensively the economic model produced by that mad Professor from Cardiff University, the model that was pooh pooed by virtually every economist on the planet thus I think RM may not have both oars in the water. Those things aside, is anyone else terrified at the prospect of Boris being PM and leading the country, I'd be scared to death even in the good times, let alone mid-Brexit - FWIW I think Boris peeked when he was a guest on HIGNFY with Ian Hislop and even Ian thought he was a tosser back then! www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2019/07/17/tory-leadership-race-latest-boris-johnson-jeremy-hunt-brexit/

Er......so, +90 and -80 equals what, +170.....if you say so! Obviously you're a project fear pusher. Now listen carefully, I'll only say this once! We SAVE 90 billion and EARN 80 billion, so that makes 170 billion to spend

^^| I went to the University of Technology in Delft, studying mathematics. The Dutch uncle part comes 'natural', just like with Frans Timmermans. From an interview with the BBC's Panorama program, due to be broadcast on this Thursday evening: "Frans Timmermans: UK Brexit negotiators were like hapless sitcom characters The Commission first vice president said negotiators were like ‘Dad’s Army’ soldiers without a plan. ... Prior to the start of negotiations, Timmermans said the EU side had expected the British — with their reputation for having a highly efficient civil service — to be “so brilliant” in their approach to the talks. They expected that “in some vault somewhere in Westminster there will be a Harry Potter-like book with all the tricks and all the things in it to do,” he said. But he added: “And then the first time I saw public utterances by David Davis and I saw him not coming [to Brussels], not negotiating, grandstanding elsewhere I thought: ‘Oh my God, they haven’t got a plan, they haven’t got a plan’. “That was really shocking frankly, because the damage if you don’t have a plan — you know, we see it — time’s running out and you don’t have a plan, it’s like Lance Corporal Jones — you know, ‘Don’t panic, don’t panic’, running around like idiots.” ... " www.politico.eu/article/frans-timmermans-uk-brexit-negotiators-were-like-hapless-sitcom-characters/PS of course Timmermans is mistaken. The British had a plan, a very cunning plan. 29 November, 2016 Newspaper headlines: Brexit 'have cake and eat it'

So there we have it, whatever is in the US water is in ours too, it's confirmed.....BJ is our new PM, yippee, not!
Tradition has it that BJ should attend Buck Palai where the Queen will ask him to form a government, but what if she doesn't, rumour has it that the Privy Council is being canvassed to have her withhold the question, how embarrassing......more tea Mr Johnson, macaroon perhaps....as day turns into night and BJ gets fidgety, awaiting the key question to be asked but it doesn't.

Trump already stated BoJo will be a great British PM and 'first' daughter Ivanka mentioned "becoming the next Prime Minister of the United Kingston." Still wondering if that is in Jamaica or just the name of a new football club.

More seriously....the master plan of course is for Ivanka to take over from her father as President, as soon as his second term expires. That's the plan in his mind and in the mind of other certifiable loons that walk among us.
