I'm guessing Udon Outhere, Nakorn Nowehere, and Sakorn Somewhere cc keeps telling me about <duck>et as well which sort of makes me laugh It seems the purpose of this island is to keep the mentally challenged in one place(farang and Thais)...

When any Thai person says Roi Et for some reason I think of ET. Not because of the Et bit but, the 1st time I heard of it was when I asked a girl who looked like ET where she was from. She actually sounded like him too, it's lazer etched in my mind.

Place names - Bang Sue and Bang Poo for 'Bang Poo' ... there is a very soft 'b' before the strong 'P'. More like Bang bPoo ... but I get your drift.
