So what would you like to see to make the world and more specifically BigMango a better place? > for you? > We're not Japanese so not every idea will get implemented but...

TBH Arrow, I quite like the site the way it is. Everything works well and runs smoothly, it is not cumbersome as TB claims. The one thing that I could suggest is a possibility of the 'recently updated sidebar'. www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/676I was looking at this earlier but I'm not sure if it would clutter up the board. Maybe if we had a poll on this and run it for a test period, we could then democratically decide on whether to keep it or not (through a forum members vote).

To be fair it's not me that's claiming it's cumbersome - I can navigate around it no problem. I have heard others complain about it - one guy in particular I was talking to on FB last week who is a current member and said he doesn't post for said reason. Stoneyboy posted to the same effect last week. I've heard it from others too - when you hear a thing over and over then you have to take it into account.
Can we not just duplicate the posting style so to speak over at the other place?

I was looking forward to CC1 starting the foodie section - what's happening with that? Jear is on standby waiting to post hundreds of photos.
I also have a Thai chef here in Scotland that may participate.

Can we not just duplicate the posting style so to speak over at the other place? Think we need to be more specific to be able to address. What particular features / functions would people like to see or not. Simple is answer no we can't just copy other places - even if wanted to - platforms are different. So people need to be specific. Most forums I post on have some aspects I like and dislike in terms of getting around and posting.

Also the platform for TVF is different from ours. We are governed by the software that is provided by ProBoards.
In reality, we are just a bunch of amateurs who are just trying to run a friendly forum with little or no resources, whereas TVF has unlimited resources and are able to hire IT experts to tweak and fix their software. While we are able to emulate some of TVFs software features we are limited in this, as we have to rely on the features that are available on the ProBoards platforms.

So how about posting a "How To Navigate This Board," topic and pin it?
Or if someone is brave enough to make a two minute video.
And it won't be me cos no one will understand a word I say.

I'd like to see these recipes too.
By see I mean a video, not just a list copied from the sites that copy the sites.
I might do some of my own, get Ferran Adria round.
Buckle up.

The names of the various boards under Soi Big Mango have become ridiculous. It's completely unclear (to me at least) what content is appropriate for each board.
