I once got a two week suspension from the bitch at the local library when I was ten years old for returning my books a few days late.
Only happened due to being on my holidays.
That one actually hurt.

I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the emotional pain his son would feel for life if his father committed suicide. I disagree. A grown person is responsible for himself...it would inflict pain but the person has an absolute right to his own life. Once again you have missed the point. I was drinking heavily yesterday. From dawn till dusk.I don't think i was ever drunk as such. I proved it to Boy, by solving a simple sudoku in less than five minutes.Then continued to solve the cryptic crossword.
Was more free with my thoughts, less inhibited.
I tend to use this forum to express my thoughts, as no one person on here actually knows me.
Sometimes i use the buhi/bowie posts to question myself as neither are myself.
Only one of you picked up deceive when stating i do not lie.
The events of the last week, several hitting at my inner self.
Of deception and why i never trust any one now. Certainly not my wife.Son is still young enough to retain some innocence.Indeed it was he who came to sit with me and his friends.Never once said anything sympathetic or accusatory.
Very much my son.
And when depressed like that do not tell me drink does not help.
Son and Boy knew not to use that platitude.
They knew what was the root of the turmoil.

I am in no position to offer advice on this subject as I have never really been in the grips of deep depression. I thought I was many years ago when I was living alone and drinking heavily, so I cut back on the grog and was fine. Have met people who really did suffer from it and I would not wish it on anyone. Maybe I should come and see you and tell you what I have been through in the last three years almost, it might make you feel better about yourself ! Hope you get over it buhi, this place would not be the same without your cryptic crossword comments that do my head in on a daily basis. But I would think drinking and depression would go together like petrol and fire. Not a good mixer ! Good luck mate.  |
