Mat (MiL) is welcome at my house anytime, always brings me a beef mattsaman and inspects the house to make sure its up to her standards, proper old skool, a diamond, contrary to what you may read elsewhere by the Thai experts, she never asks for a single satang, no sin sot was paid, and no monthly money is sent.

Old skool Thai, not Cambodian or Laos culture which is totally alien to her.
