Costs about 200 baht for a 200gm pack, head to Big C at Mega Bang Na, right in there along with baked beans and Branston pickle. Money well spent. Fck sake don't tell everyone!! Its the best and best value cheese in Thailand.

Typical Asian food isn't it? A lot of truth in what you say. What makes me laff are the food snobs aka foodies who proclaim to love Thai food, the irony is, what they know as Thai food bears no resemblance to what your average Thai eats on a daily basis. Up my way there are food carts passing on an hourly basis selling all sorts of edibles. One I observed was selling frozen blood chopped up into 1 inch cubes and packed with ice. Any time I head north of Bkk the car has two twelve packs of Mama noodles in the back, I usually can last about 3 days, then I seek sanctuary in the local KFC or Mickey Ds. The Thai girls here in Aus have started a clever little business between them all. Some started up a Facebook group which is now a couple thousand of them , and it's an online food marketplace. They are free to wheel and deal imported and home grown produce. So finally when I thought we'd gotten rid of the really stinky foods , now packages of it turn up at the door. At least it keeps them happy I suppose.
