That was an extraordinary evening.
I was with my son's friends.
He was not there at the time.
His friends were waiting for him.
They are great kids, guys.
I trust them and they know that.
I know their parents and we are friends too.
We all laugh together.
Then son arrived, had no idea of the events.
I did not tell him.
He of course found out.
Came home with said friends, a bit late.
I had phoned him.
Knew all was fine.
Was with his friends this evening.
Son home.
Had homework.
As usual they got some cryptic comments from me.
Shook their heads and laughed.

But it does beg the question, i am very old now. I have quit pushing my luck. Stay mostly at or near home now. There comes a time. That will happen to all of you. Just a truth. Now to watch "The Godfather", that great scene of his death.If only we could all be so lucky.
