First up, two in Bkk that no longer exist.
I used to love the bar outside Central World, or Wo Tech as the Thais called it, live music, comedy acts, etc, draft beer, and great food.
The bar that used to be outside the PanThip Plaza on the left hand side, get to the Plaza about 1 in the afternoon, visit usual shops and order a heap of DVDs, sit outside from about 2 pm knocking back hard to find draft beer.
The place was run by to lesbians who were always arguing and fighting with each other, watching their antics was great, also a great place for people watching.
Next up, a Dive Bar on the 3322 in Chan, impossible to spend 500 baht on a session.
Chiang Mai is the Bier Stube still there? always had a great time in there.
Bang Saen, a little beer joint on the right hand side of the SS Hotel, non rip off prices and excellent service, sorry cant remember its name, but if you walk by it you will know exactly where I mean.
Lastly, a place on Mae Rim Pung in Rayong, on the beach, non tourist farang rip off place, see above.
