Thai wife says five paracetamol killed British husband A Surin wife told police she believed that five paracetamol and a glass of orange juice killed her healthy British husband. Police who arrived at a house in Ban Yayam village in Sikhoraphum district of Surin found 52 year old Neil Curtis sprawled on the ground by a hammock. He was dressed only in shorts and there were no signs of injury. He was already dead. His distraught wife Nattha Bunjan, 45, told investigators that they had lived together for two years tending cattle and growing rice on 15 rai of land. Her husband had just been to feed grass to the cows yesterday and returned home to have a rest. Correct me if i am wrong, 5 paracetamol will not kill you, if you scoff down 30 odd in one go then yes your kidneys will fail and you will leave this mortal coil Maybe just a simple heart attack, and once again the rozzers and a rice farmers daughter are adding 2 + 2 and coming up with 37 |

Its like the newspaper's get a bit of a rundown on the situation at these deaths then just make shit up. I say that because I'd like to believe the police just aren't that dumb. |

In the good old days over at TVF webfact would have been on this story like a seagull on a chip. The hoard of Thai bashers would have had the wife convicted of murder, there would have been a huge insurance policy to collect on, and she would have had a Thai boyfriend waiting to step in. Anyone who said a word in her defence would have been attacked and labeled a Thai apologist and the thread would have attracted 8-10 pages of posts before petering out.  |

Which makes me wonder why the hospitals I spent that seven months in were so keen to feed the patients Paracetamol, and as much as they were allowed. If I had have taken it every time it was offered to me I would have been rattling when I was discharged.  |
