If I had gone to skool enuf This is probably new to you and a real surprise, but in one of Bangkok's better sois there an institute for those with lesser education when they were younger. It's called 'afterskool'. Can be a bit expensive though, but good education has it's price Or 'The Classroom' in Soi 13/2 Pattaya.

I beleive that after the campaign they stopped issuing Morphine to any rank below Sergeant. The lower ranks were issued with Codine as their emergency pain killer during active duty instead I wonder if the offspring of the Royal Sergeant Majors used to nick stuff from the medical pack? Extra point btw for getting stuff in my V8 engine. Vroom vroom!

I could tell you a great story about the use of Morphine during the Falkland's campaign but then I would have to eat myself. Seriously and i have written this before, when given morphine for survival , medical reasons, it does blow pain into another dimension. I was so far out back then, had no idea i was , hey get this right, not recreational, motorcycle accident, parents told he will die, and then coming round. "More of that, more,". "No more, you can take the pain now,".

Shit, i was in agony, i will not give details of how many bones broken, but it was as you know, shock they were treating. The trip in agony i still recall. Never touch the stuff, once you have you will recall it. I knew that and never have.

To receive Morphine in the British army you would need at least a broken ulna, Fractured fingernail & a paper cut. Granted you would have to fill the requisition out in triplicate, signed and chopped but my mate Dave who works in the M.R.S. (Medical Center) could fix you up for about 20 quid.

Yes, that's serious. I understand that in the British Civil Service you'll get a medal for that In the Army some more blood needs to be spilled before your superior higher ranking officer would even start to think about possibly mentioning you by name. Probably mis-spelled as well.
