My favourite bank heist was where the robbers shoved all the staff into a room. A bunch of cops surrounded the bank. No escape possible.
Robbers demanded pizzas.
Sure , negotiators ordered that , reverse psychology going on with the both parties little did the cops know.
While waiting for the pizzas , the robbers had tunnels into waterways directly beneath the bank. Perfect getaway.
By the time the pizzas got there , only the hostages left.
Brilliant exit stage left.

Smokey would have hung around for the pizza, true story bro.

But I'd consider driving the getaway car. Or getaway tuktuk. I'm a blackbelt in tuk tukking. Boiler rooms and internet scams are just plain wrong. Robbing banks, from my personal experience... yep. Apparently myself and the Smokes used to work in a Boiler Room together. The same source of that story also went around telling people that I was part of a Columbian drug cartel and smuggled 100 tons of cocaine into BKK back in June/July 2000. The fact that the teller of this story was actually working in a Boiler Room ripping off people seemed to go over some people's heads.

Does that count?

Wasnt that in part plot line to the remake of the Italian Job ?

I was trained by a black American guy when I first worked in Germany. This guy was a high flier who was married to a German girl, and had a son. He lost his job, and in desperation robbed a bank, taking a hostage in Hamburg.
The police caught him, and left him in a cell with his shoes and belt. He hung himself.

Yes well getting caught robbing banks has a serious side also. Namely looong jail terms. We're not too worried because Smokies driving our getaway car What could possibly go wrong?

Well In a way I have and I got away with it too, here's how it happened.
Some 5 years back at Christmas, New year time we were at our house in Surin, wanted some shopping and some basic farm tools needed renewing too, so off to Sangkha we go. I went to the ATM and drew 20,000 baht, plus the till slip showing A/C balance.
We actually wanted 40,000 baht so hit the machine for the next 20,000, rustling sounds of money followed by the requested till slip. Balance unchanged.
Off we went to do the tasks we came for away, about 2 hours later (feeding time kicked in) decided to check balance and no change. Next statement by post the second 20,000 baht transaction hadn't registered at all.
Successful bank heist !!!!

Any with Charlize Theron in wearing a tank top and a come hither look on her face is an instant classic in my book, except the one aboutthe lesbian mass murderer
