Same in England and i did not care then, or do i care now. She knows she can have all, but would be robbing our son. That was at the heart of the row. |

There you go; i was discussing life and death. Existential, nothing about money.
Wife was being materialistic, not me.
I hit with a broadside of our son.
He too, is very much like me, but not afflicted as yet with manic depression.
"Take every f ing thing, see if i care,".
Basically, without my finances she can do f all and as long as my son is the inheritor she is stuffed.
Or she thinks he does not know?
He does and the family knows.
I may play games, but ....
All has calmed down now, for the present.
Calm with me around?

And yes wife did meet my parents, that story i think i have already related.
And being me, i made no excuses,
"My prostitute from Thailand and i will marry her,".
Father, old an old adversary gave his blessing.
It was one of our last meetings.

My wife, fiancee, girlfriend, bar girl, then applied for a visa for her to visit my parents.
All hazy now, long ago.
A meeting was arranged at the british consulate, which we attended.
I then returned to England.
Consulate decided cunningly to re arrange a meeting, knowing i was out of the country.
Little did they know i was staying with my best friend, barrister, expert on human rights.
Yes, i know, abuse of power perhaps or just plain law.
He fired a letter back and told the consulate when i would be available in Bangkok.
Consulate agreed to a new date.

All true.
I was back in Bangkok on the day i said i would be.
Fiancee, bar girl, now wife instantly given a 6 month visa.
"We like her, she is not like most who try,".
Sure she stayed in England a few weeks.
It was a disaster.
Well apart from that night in the disco in Lancaster.
That was amusing.

"Whoa who you got there? Can i dance with her?".
"Sure, but keep your hands off and some respect please,".
Yes i was known there too.

I had a friend in Bangkok long ago.
That might lead to the next chapter, or not, i ramble, but tell it true.
Of when i did go back to England.
I was p**sed off.
Much like yesterday.
Go home, sort of.
Go to my parents, poor souls, aged and unable ever to cope with the prodigal son.
To friend, instructions, remove every thing from my house, everything.
Sister in law lived opposite.
"You are crazy,".
"Sure am and f you,".
Yes that is the last time i saw my father.
Needless to say i came back, to an empty house.
Got the stuff back and my wife.
Friend met me.
"You are f..ing crazy, and this is the last time we ever meet,".

Only one of my precious possessions was missing of things returned. A puppet.
How strange.
It was authentic and very valuable, i bought it cheap, knowing.
Then fate, i found another, of equal aesthetic, very similar.
Yes still here.
The place i found the same, a certain place on sukumwit, destroyed a few days later.
Now a park and the owner has a spot on TV .
Oh life is amusing.
Now i laugh.

Was at the shop, 5, as usual.
How boring i am.
Bett came back in a taxi with her cousin , who lives in the big house opposite.
Bett, mother of Boy, owner of the shop.
Roots in China Town, second generation Chinese.
A close friend and like all good friends we sometimes fall out and words are spoken by me, not her.
I can apologise.
Could not but notice her finery, clothes that is.
Stunning and the gold on her finger.
I am very observant.
Just popped down to the shop for a couple of beers.
Bett in usual attire and not glittering in gold.
"Wedding Bett?".
"You know too much,".
"No, or yes, but saw your beautiful clothes, tasteful Thai costume in pink,".
Black or white would be a funeral.
Then she showed me her phone pictures.
"That's a Christian wedding,".
"Yes her husband is Christian,you spot everything,".
"Well maybe, but just observation, and you look magnificent as does Mon ,".
Mon is her cousin.
So i can see all this with my eyes, not by computer .
I am not a trained police man or SAS.
Enough said.
