Had to look that up: Twerking: a provocative dance performed by moving the hips rapidly back and forth while standing with the feet apart and raising and lowering the body in a squatting motion. The mind boggles (assuming that's allowed  ) |

I'm left to wonder whether the country would prefer less twerking or the freedom to choose their own political leadership? Fact of the matter is smokes, the hypocrisy of this whole story stinks. You see this kind of thing of national t.v. everyday on the Thai music channels. I know because my eight year old daughter watches them. Grammy and R Siam and their acts seem to be able to get away with it, so why such a commotion about this girls act ? |

Well I was going to say a Primary School end of year concert....but if you did not have young kids in your family you would not see those. |

Pity this type of act can influence the younger Thais  I kinda like her and the original (Lamyai) and don’t see anything wrong with the show/performance/act.

Well I was going to say a Primary School end of year concert....but if you did not have young kids in your family you would not see those. Very true. They are way over the top. As an ex drama advisor and producer of countless school plays (in England) i would make the parents laugh by innuendo, but never anything as provocative as the Thai school performances. |
