The link is incorrect - the laughable assumption would be that the NK weapons would all discharge ( even though they have a proven failure rate of 25% ) and actually hit the target - AND that there would be no return fire from SK. The only worry the USA has would be to track and locate some of the longer range weapons that are concealed within mountain areas before they do serious damage. Hence the casualty figure of around 150,000. Me? battlefield nuke their nuclear installation plus another couple of known hotspots - then let it rain. Every US allied military in the area will join in on the party - and the Chinese will take a collective whitey. Excellent - exactly what they are needing. I don't have strong or knowledgeable views on all of this, I was simply looking at the subject on the basis of what seems logical. But shortly after I read your post above I was reading what Boris Johnson had to say on the subject and I quote: "Mr Johnson said: “It’s certainly our view that none of the military options is good...the distance between North Korea and Seoul is very, very small and they could basically vaporise large parts of the South Korean population even with conventional weapons, so that’s not really very easy to threaten or to deliver.” Now that's Boris of course who could indeed have confused North Korea with Notting Hill and is a bit of a buffoon, but....! www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/09/03/boris-johnson-warns-donald-trump-taking-military-actions-against/I read that, and there is no doubt the geography is a problem for defence for Seoul. However, try defending it against three rapid nukes.

Every US allied military in the area will join in on the party - and the Chinese will take a collective whitey. Excellent - exactly what they are needing. And then what? Its like deja vu all over again, afghanistan, libya, iraq and syria. Who will be left to pick up the pieces? Uncle sam always has an in, but never an out. 26 million people, where will they go, what country will take them, who will pick up the bill? Eff me a country that is so skint they are asking for gov't funds to pick up the tab for a bit of rain in teaxs. NK is an irrelevance. The real target here is China and China knows it. I keep saying that the Chinese will take a collective whitey if NK bombs Guam. They've already taken the stunning step of announcing to the world that NK is on its own if it fires missiles against the USA. Why? China knows it can't beat the USA in a military confrontation. The loss of FACE will be catastrophic to the Communist Party and Chinese military. It will hasten the death of China as an entity as it splits along the same lines as the Soviet Union. The only real solution for China is to arrange for the premature death of that wee prick, and to instal a puppet government. That would suit all sides - the Chinese can claim benevolent big brother status, the South Koreans can get on with making Samsung appliances, and the Americans can get cheap sneakers at Walmart. Win, Win. North Korea ain't a problem for the USA. They are a serious problem for the Chinese.

What's worrying the Chinese is a massive collapse of the test site, and a leak of radiation across the region.

Amazing really to think that for all the intelligence we humans have it seems as if our future is in the hands of two retards Kim and Tronald Dump. Bring on the cockroaches I say. That's about all there will be left if those retards have their way.

And more than half the people in the supposedly most advanced nation in the world voted one of them into office, what does that tell you.

Here's an idea: an air drop of leaflets, all over the country, offering $10 million for the mans head.
What do you think?
I'm talking America of course!

Japan can't take much action anyway. Their military is hardly anything these days.

Japan can't take much action anyway. Their military is hardly anything these days. That may be about to change. Trump has changed the limits on what S Korea and Japan can and will buy.
