Things do seem to have ratcheted up to the next level, US bombers flying closest ever to NK in an intimidation exercise, NK saying it will detonate a bomb in the Pacific. The estimate now is that NK may have up to 60 nuclear warheads plus Iran has started testing missiles again, this going against a previous ban. Trump's UN speech was seriously unhelpful and his minders don't seem able to control him, did you watch the COS during the UN speech, gawd all mighty, talk about being in despair. Where's it all going to go I wonder, dunno, but I'm not going skiing in Yongpyong this year, mostly because I can ski about as well as I can fly!

It is worrying, but President Trump has too many issues to look into. I mean he's also battling the NFL at the moment and fighting with the CNN over crowd sizes. One may only wonder at how this amazing, really amazing fellow juggles all his balls  |

I tend to avoid politics, but has NK ambitions to extend its borders or conquer China?
Comparisons with Hitler's German ambitions seem a little far fetched.

But fighting didn't work, voting wouldn't work, threatening the US with Armageddon is seriously unlikely to work - options seem to be either stop trying or die. No need to list them.
I have taught executives of South Korea.
References?
Language, sure they needed to hone their skills in English.
But could they?
Language is subtle.
Culture is subtle too.
South Koreans are Korean.
Now they are a non state of the USA, as is Japan.
As an English /American I know of the follies of imposing foreign ideals on others.
Most comments on Mango are Western.
Christian.
From the culture derived from the Greeks.
Does Thai culture, Korean culture have the same roots?
