The problem is, if the Dems had won. Would we be in a far different place? I think not, but the can would still be being kicked down the road. While Kim still works on his agenda. The N Koreans started the war remember. By default. Any knowledge of the first world war? I had to study it for o level history . Memory on that is sketchy at best. Except the outcome lead to WW2.

No surrender was signed after the last little stouch the West was involved in in Korea. No start...only a continuation after a long half time

Then when the colonial powers are bankrupt the USA steps in. A joke.

The US is legally still in a state of war with Korea. www.bbc.com/news/10165796

"... Haven't you noticed that men most often succeed where life is a struggle against adverse conditions? Hard work brings out the best in them. In the smiling South Sea Islands, where life is easy and food plentiful, no progress was ever made towards a higher civilization. It is fear and necessity that drives men on to do their utmost. On the languorous Pacific islands people spend most of their time singing and dancing, with intervals of doing nothing at all.'
'They'll probably be singing and dancing when your higher civilizations have blown themselves to smithereens with atom bombs,'..."
Now to the Stars, Tiger Clinton book 3 by Captain W.E. Johns, 1956.

Remembering that RT is Putin's information channel for all he wants others to know. "The whole Pacific Rim agenda is predicated on poor relations with North Korea and being on a war footing. The only reason the US is there is to counter China, while North Korea is just theater, geopolitical analyst Patrick Henningsen says." In 2010 theGuardian already had this as Patrick's profile "Patrick Henningsen Patrick Henningsen is an author and founder of the 21st Century Wire news website, an Associate Editor of alternative news site Infowars.com and regular geopolitical analyst for Russia Today" www.theguardian.com/profile/patrick-henningsen Interesting website that '21st century' one. Has nice articles like "Undercutting the Nation State? Chicago Group Suggests ‘Global Cities’ Should Run World Affairs" "CIA Operative Admits Deep State Globalist Control – The Game of Nations" "New Report Destroys Fabricated Myth of Syria’s ‘White Helmets’"

Dear bleth, broke Godwin's law. There is no comparison. Check Vietnam, North and South. Not Eden for sure. Let the North find it's own way. It is no threat until threatened. I didn't break Godwin's law. Examine the history of NK, and you will find I am correct. My comparison is valid - this technique of obsfucation and lies was tried before. And once again, we have people indicating this is in some way Trump's fault. Which is incredible.

It's like telling a bloke in the pub 'I don't like you, get out you sad person' and following hiding behind others. Now Trump is not at fault for 50 years of history, but he's at fault for escalating. Even in his own country he upsets people, keeps tweeting about 'bad', 'sad' and gives the left and right loonies all material needed to light a fire. Americas president, so sad!

IMHO its lil kim who is escalating this not Trump, Lil Kim keeps pushing and pushing, now in the past with the pussys in power in the west and the toothless UN, he could do want he wanted, as non had a spine to call his bluff, Trumpton is calling his bluff and time will tell who has the biggest balls and the best poker face

The West did negotiate with Iran to the point of an agreement which Trumpy seems to dislike (if only because Obama was involved). The West mostly ignored NK and the fact that both Russia and China were still supporting NK (and probably also a few other countries liking part of illegal gains). So, I guess I disagree with you in who's more to blame. Mind you, more interesting is a solution which doesn't included major explosions

Reminds me of what one frequently hears "It's your fault if we have to shoot someone"
