^We don’t know Yinglucks verdict yet, however I do believe the court was correct to jail/fine Boonsong & Co. They were clearly guilty to the tune of 16.9 billion baht. I think some on here are failing to see the bigger picture. A worrying lack of independent judiciary. Up-to-a-point only. The 'bread and games' for their supporters financed with all tax payers money was clearly criminal. Mind you, the nice rallies we had in 2010 and so remind me of the rallies our beloved and great, real great President Trump organises. Clearly when our example of 'democracy and how things should be' America engages in such, minor countries are bound to be strengthened and happy to be just like America. |

There's talk she may try and seek asylum in the U.K. Thaks.n tried that and was unpleasantly surprised by the demand to stay away from politics while awaiting the result of his asylum request. Also the requirement to stay in the country was a bit too much for him. So, will Ms. Y.ngluck settle down in the UK ? |

^ That i cannot and do not know the answer to Siampolee and Rubl. I do not even try to pretend to be an expert with all the answers. Even after some 17 years on and off spent in the kingdom, i go by one rule of thumb. You can go to bed at night, think you understand everything there is to know about this place, wake up the next morning, 5 minutes later you find out you know absolutely sweet F.A. I do know one thing though, after reading the utter crap and spiel those TVF fcukers come out with on the subject for the last hour, my head hurts !  |

I think it's important to remember that a significant number of posts on TVF are from people who:
- don't live here,
- have never tried to form their own views on much at all and rely on what they hear from others.
- live in Issan and are partnered with bar girls whose understanding of the issues are more limited than their own,
Let's face it, if you want to read the factual news you don't buy The Sun or ask your neighbour what it knows.
