Johor Sultan orders laundrette to cease Muslims-only policy PETALING JAYA: The Sultan of Johor has warned a laundrette in Muar to stop its practice of allowing only Muslims to use its services or he will personally shut it down. The order by Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar comes as the issue of the “Muslims-only laundrette” generated much debate over the past few days, after a photo of the laundrette with a sign, “Only For Muslims”, had gone viral on social media. “I cannot accept this nonsense. This is Johor, which belongs to Bangsa Johor and it belongs to all races and faiths. This is a progressive, modern and moderate state. “This is not a Taliban state and as the Head of Islam in Johor, I find this action to be totally unacceptable as this is extremist in nature,” the Johor ruler was quoted as saying by The Star. Sultan Ibrahim told the daily that he had also ordered the state Islamic religious affairs committee chairman Abdul Mutalip Abd Rahim, the religious council and the district council to investigate the matter. “From now on, I am directing the state executive council and all the councils to insist that any business owners who carry out such blatant discriminatory practices should have their licences revoked. Don’t mess around with your narrow-minded religious prejudices,” Sultan Ibrahim was quoted as saying. www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2017/09/27/johor-sultan-orders-laundrette-to-cease-muslims-only-policy/

There you have a leader with a brain. But not a good Moslem. After all, Mohammed said that Moslems shouldn't even be friends with non-Moslems. They certainly shouldn't be washing their intimate underwear with them. And imagine the horror if a dog hair should be transferred from kaffir clothes to those of a Moslem. The Moslem would then need to go through ritual purification which is a bummer. (Not that bummers are allowed in Islam. They need to be thrown from high buildings.) So, why not extend the segregation idea further. Let's have Moslem-only countries and non-Moslem countries, and never the twain shall meet. Et voilà, so many problems solved at a stroke.

And of course Buddhist only countries too, no atheists permitted. Proof of faith, a month in the monkhood and 90 day reporting at the wat. Church of England states too, just like the good old days. Burning at the stake for heretics.

Count me in, I'm staying in Buddhist Thailand. The local abbot is a friend, happy to go and have a chat with him every 90 days. Now where to send the atheists?

Now where to send the atheists? To hell? They're eventually going there anyway.

I really like this guy...can we get him elected as a British MP...?...how about PM ? Johor Sultan: If all is to be forbidden, then live in a cave Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar has spoken out against various forbidden practices on grounds of religion to the point of impracticality, pointing out that it would become impossible to live in a community. He raised this matter when elaborating on a Muslims-only laundrette, which had refused to serve non-Muslim customers on grounds of "purity". "Think for yourselves. What about seats in public places that may have been licked by dogs or pillows and blankets in hotels that have come in contact with najis (unclean things).
