On my list of holidays for October I only have Monday 13th - The Passing of H.M. King Bhumipol Friday 23rd - Chulalongkorn Day Thursday 5th is a normal working day as far as I know Of course, National Holidays on a Saturday/Sunday are only important to me when they result in a substitute day off

I think that that particular day (End of Buddhist Lent) is an option for state workers and the workforce in general, however of course current events may well put a different focus on the matter. Mind you as I am on holiday starting September 28th until November 1st it's one long holiday for me!!

So which days can't we buy booze? It reads like we still can which is good because I'll crack a few tinnies for the king. Show my respect.

Well perchance you are at the funeral site on the day and at the time make sure you have a lighter or a box of matches to hand. Be prepared like a Boy Scout, one never knows when such accoutrements may be needed.
