^^^^ Indian food is a subject in itself, with plenty of regional variations. When I was in The ME the cooks were all from that part of the world, trying their best to knock out farang food (bland at best), every lunch time the wagon used to deliver Indian food for the cooks. The lads latched onto it right away, we dont want this farang muck, give us this stuff, used to eat it every day. Thankfully the mrs can knock out a decent vindaloo or madras, and aint one of those snobby types that turns her nose up at indian food, she can also knock out decent mexican food as well. As has been mentioned before elsewhere, thank you to all the American ladies for showing my mrs how to cook food, like me, she very rarely eats Thai food these days, and if she does, she is very picky about what she eats and where she buys it from. If you like Indian food or Southern Thai food, visit this joint next time you are in Bkk. theworldandhistuktuk.co.uk/roti-fatimah-outstanding-southern-curries-roti-eastern-bangkok/

If you are on your travels and cant read Thai, this is what you are looking for. A fusion of Arabic and Indian food, best food I have ever eaten.
