Remember the 2012 Delhi rape case, where Mohammad Afroz pulled out the victim's intestines through her vagina? He was sentenced to just 3 years (as a juvenile - he was 17½) and is now free to rape again.

The four adult rapists were sentenced to death in 2014. Thanks to India's appeal system they still haven't been hanged. Doubtless the current case will involve multiple appeals before the sentence can be carried out.
