My view remains the same as I held at the time the sieks were burning the trains and killing people in India a few years ago. I respect those that speak out and condemn the acts and the actors, until they do they remain tarred with the brush of the terrorist. Unless you're referring to the 1947 Sikh attack on trains which resulted in the death of 3,000 or so Moslems, or the earlier 1922 Punja Sahib massacre (which was in Pakistan), I think you may actually be recalling the Godra Train Burning Massacre in which 59 Hindus were murdered by a Moslem mob in Gujarat state.

I was in India for a while in early '86 including Punjab and remember a lot of strife. Just can't remember the details.
