I don't think this should come as any surprise, the more connected we have become technologically, the more unconnected we have become socially and emotionally.

I partly blame keeping up with the jonses A lot of truth to that, I call it keeping up with the Somchais. Lets toss in such words as, face, low self esteem, and knowing your place on the totem pole of life. |

Lets toss in such words as, face, low self esteem, and knowing your place on the totem pole of life. There's a Dutch saying and in the 1930s there was a song going like "if you're born as a dime you'll never be a quarter" (als je voor een dubbeltje geboren bent wordt je nooit een kwartje). I never believed in such, still don't. Mind you, born with money does tend to make life easier  |
