But who fronts the day rate for the vessel, these sorts of vessels come in at about USD 250k/day rate...therefore 70 mill is less than a years charter... Malaysians are being kants and cheap charlie Edit...just noticed they said find it within 2 weeks...even more disgusting hanging a carrot like that...not going to happen |

Just dusted my double Li-Lo and snorkeling gear off from inside the garage, searching for flights as I type this.
Have a waterproof phone with Garmin installed, hopefully will find it in no time.
Drinks will be on me, all will be doubles

Not being one for conspiracy theories, but a customer recently was telling me about his high level links to Isreali intel and...well, word on the gefilte fish stalls is that MH370 was carrying some very sensitive military hardware(some sort of drone he said) which if fell into Chinese hands would have precipitated the start of WW3. So the Seppos took control of the plane and landed it at some remote airbase on an Indian ocean island and chopped it up and disposed of the evidence. Few chunks were salted in the sea to eventually wash up and serve as a classic distraction. Working very well if that was the case.
Sounds just as plausible as the official line that it just "disappeared" and that nobodies cell phone was turned on - which is flat out impossible. I always leave my dog and bone on silent sure many do.

That base is just inside it's max range for the fuel. What puzzled me at the time was. An aircraft not transponding, flies through at least 3 countries airspace. They don't send a jet up to take a look see.
