Didn't the Dutch turn up first? A matter of proper definition of 'first' I'd say. The answer depends on who you ask

If it wasn't for the Poms we would all be speaking Japanese. I'm not convinced that is strictly true. The Japs wanted to castrate every Australian male(great idea btw!) and then breed with the lonely sheilas. It is likely the gals would have retained the use of the English language, and thus the offspring would speak English although would be more like Engrish by this stage. I wonder what plans they had for the traditional inhabitants?

I'm not persuaded that someone wouldn't take the place over eventually. Good thing it wasn't Genghis Khan.

If this is reference to the Japanese co-prosperity sphere idea from the 1930sh, 1040sh, then I think the Ozzies should thank the Americans. The ANZAC's were mostly off fighting in Northern Africa and Europe for King and Mother England,

Hope that all of our bread stealing cousins enjoyed a Happy Invasion Day. I guess that I owe RGS an apology and an explanation as to why I stole and re-posted his post. RGS posted his YouTube link of 'we all shagged Matilda' on Friday and I thought it was great, gave him a like for it. The next day I was scrolling through my YouTube history when I came across 'we all shagged Matilda' and I thought that this thread was the correct place to post it so that you could all enjoy it, forgetting where I had originally seen the clip. Am I getting oldtimers disease, or what? Therefore RGS, I apologize for my plagiarism, twas not intended
