I visited some old hospital in London a while back full of hacksaws and hand drills. Scary. The Tower Bridge had some gory wax figures of people getting eaten by rats. Probably the Old Operating Theatre Museum off Borough High St. I visited and told the curator what all the devices were used for....he looked a little pale .

£22 to get into Westminster Abbey? Outrageous.
I skipped it and spent £21 going to see The War Rooms and the Churchill Museum. Well worth it.
Free entry to the Supreme Court - that was interesting. Free entry to the superlative British Museum.
Never mind that, I walked we miles, past Battersea Dog Home and power station, over Chelsea Bridge, past the barracks, Piccadilly Circus, The Mall, Buck House, Soho, Shaftesbury Avenue, Oxford Street, Pall Mall, Waterloo Place, St James' Park - the lust goes on and on.
London - by a country mile, the greatest city in the world.

There is something profoundly wrong in charging an entrance fee to a church. Mind you at least its upfront .

There is something profoundly wrong in charging an entrance fee to a church. The greater wrong is with the people who go inside a church to talk to imaginary people and then continue to steal the air that I breathe.

Imperial War Museum today, then the Florence Nightingale Museum. I walked 14 miles yesterday and I think new walking shoes are in order, so I'll go to the Elephant & Castle shopping centre, and maybe even wander down Lambeth Walk - I may even do The Last, meth Walk - apparently they sing about that
