I really miss a good ploughmans when in Thailand
what do you like in your ploughmans? Any places that actually do a good one?

The Kiwi on Soi 8 does a nice ploughmans, I think it's around 300 baht.

like a cold cut platter??? If I could figure out how to upload a picture from my phone I have a nice picture somewhere. For me the chunk of cheddar and bread are paramount in a decent ploughmans.

Pickling is easy - do it yourself...didn't even know you Brits have a eating culture 555( Bec emoticons not working) CC, I have been thinking of making a few batches of Pickled Eggs but I cannot find pickling spices in LOS. Do you have a recipe for picking spices that can be made up with spices that can be easily found in LOS?

Buddy the most important pickling spices are salt and vinegar...will send you some recipes tomorrow Bec I am busy at the moment...what would you like to preserve???
