I was doing a lot of reading today and read on one Thai website that 2016 would be the last year. Unfortunately I did not bookmark the site. Also after going to the trouble of making my own excel sheet to calculate taxes with and without the LTF investment I found KrungThai bank have a nice online calculator. www.wm.ktb.co.th/newwm/pages/financial/Tools_Tax.aspxJust use the translate to English function in chrome and fill it in. Works nice. Your welcome, RealisedUrgency

RU
I remember you saying you bought from up country thru Bangkok Bank. Have you bought any other funds other than LTFs or their Top 10 fund, i.e funds other than Thai equities? These are good, but their range for other asset classes looks limited? I know you were looking mainly for tax benefits so may not have bothered.

Useful power point presentation from MFC on LTFs and RMFs. Includes product features, benefits, and what happens if you don't comply with conditions/ penalties. (Note: slightly out of date on holding periods) RMF & LTF The tax benefit twins ... worth investing inwww.mfcfund.com/mfc/images/pdf/LTF_RMF_en.pdf
