Now this is ideal to nag about.
I don't know since when the Dutch unemployment figures mention the group 15 to 75 years old instead of till 65 years old but I just notices. Of course I already knew my retirement age (aka when start to get some state pension) , that's 67y3m. Now that is, guaranteed by our beloved politicians, enshrined in law ... and subject to change. After all some one needs to work to cover for a life expectancy of 85++.
Yours hard-at-work, uncle rubl

Just read it in Dutch. Seems Unilever had a look at it's structure after the (near hostile) takeover bid from Kraft-Heinz and decided to do something. They sold off 'spreads' (margarine and so) and now move HQ to Rotterdam where they had one of three divisions, two are in London. Business-wise it seems 45% business through those two London based divisions, 55% by the one in Rotterdam. Expectation is a possible move of two dozen or so people only. Possibly those who lready normally move every three or four years. Somehow can't feel too sorry for those few who move.

It's all double French to me.

Yes I was well p**sed of about that, was expecting my Unilever shares to go through the roof, just phoned my stockbroker and told him to offload my Unilever holdings, the derisory 3.3% divi wont be missed. Tilting at windmills no doubt, doubt if Tusk, Junker and the rest of them even care, its the principle that matters not the principal.

Well that sounds nice, sensational, gutter press like (or should I modernise and refer to 'Trump-style' ?) but the truth value is rather little I'm afraid.

As Dutch uncle I'm used to having people instantly recognising my superiority. Problems is that there aren't enough real Dutch uncles, so we lonely few have the duty to humanity to spread ourselves and last longer PS Heineken is a simple lager, has the name but isn't really special. I liked Grolsch. PPS Spent three months in Adelaide early 1995. Didn't manage to try all the beers, but oh my, it was almost like heaven
