You were in your home country? When is the next time you'll be there? Here now (crop duster below) and will be until late June. Two more trips planned while in the states. One will be in the states. Will visit again in November (to vote) until sometime in December.
Brilliant photo, can you fly a cessna?

Don't worry, still only Dutch as becomes an uncle. Every time with extension visa and/or workpermit, and 90-reporting I see my passport is still valid. Since a year or two a new passport is valid for 10 years, that's handy as well. PS and of course once a year in orange shirt at the Embassy. The 28th this month

To most of the above,…no, no, no, no, no. I had to look up rozzer. I haven’t flown in a helicopter but once (?) and not looking forward to another trip. It was just an interesting picture (I thought) taken in the Central Florida area where many citrus trees are located and where I am now. This weekend..........South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale). What I would consider, home

What I would consider, home Looking at the Ft. Lauderdale page I see "gondola rides on the canals". Sounds Venice like. Mind you, less attractive seems the 165,000 inhabitants and 12 million visitors a year. With tourist season more-or-less all around the year, I can imagine you want to escape sometimes.

Back in Oz at present. Tickets booked for our first Xmas/ New Year in Thailand since 1986. If you have a mild Summer we might pop over for a quick visit between now and then. And by mild I mean under 20C.

A change in scenery is always welcome but being in/growing up in S Florida and knowing what the tourists/snow birds provide (dollars) I would miss them if they were to leave. One of places we’ll be visiting this weekend will be to South Beach. The girlfriend enjoys brunch along Ocean Drive people watching. I enjoy watching the tourists walking away.

True, true, it's a living, or provides a living. I guess you learn to live with the drawbacks. Not really different in that with some places in Thailand, or Spanish Coast, Crete and so. Found the below. Do you agree with the five things to do or is that only just really touristy? 5 Things to Do in South Beach
