How about a nice spicey Thai salad with chickens feet and a side dish of Pla Ra ? Funny thing is that the Roman Legions who occupied England in their time also had their own Pla Ra recipe. No wonder they gave up and buggered back to where they came from to escape said Pla Ra.

I've just had my Sunday roast.
The fookwit front of house was told that pouring gravy all over my roast spuds wasn't a great start and told me....
"Most people like it that way"
Comments please.

Thai Simmer Pot. Sure they picked it out of the nearest rubbish can and threw it in with a pinch of salt hoping for the best.

Meat tasted like an old Roman's sandal and the rest was good for the dog.

No wonder they gave up and buggered back to where they came from to escape said Pla Ra. Although it's possible that the local Britannic Peoples had their own local condiment, the Romans loved their own 'garum'. Not sure though that was the reason for them leaving the foggy Isles. "Garum was a fermented fish sauce used as a condiment[1] in the cuisines of ancient Greece, Rome, and later Byzantium. Liquamen was a similar preparation, and at times the two were synonymous. Although it enjoyed its greatest popularity in the Roman world, the sauce was earlier used by the Greeks." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garum

A roast on a pleasant summers day ! I take it you are back in the U.K. somewhere. Me and Mrs TF spent the afternoon in the beer garden down our local munching away on side plates of food and getting quietly sloshed. Felt it though today when i had to be up at 2 a.m.
