Reminds me of the Boers trekking away, but there's nowhere to go these days, so independence and a 'fence me in'.
Will the Boers join the Zulus I wonder? No idea, I'm not up-to-date as to the situation in SA.

No idea, I'm not up-to-date as to the situation in SA. What may conceivably happen is that South Africa breaks up back into independent countries again ie Pre-Union before 1910.... The Cape wants out of the Republic of SA, and has the Cape Party, ie SA's own version of Brexit gaining a lot of support, now you have the Zulu basically wanting the same thing.. King Khoebaha who is the paramount chief of the Koi-San has already declared the Cape of Good Hope independent and a sovereign state diekaap.com/the-cape-secedes-from-south-africa-khoi-king-khoebaha-iii-declares-the-sovereign-state-of-good-hope-independent/Given the racial and cultural make up in SA, independent states, in a sort of canton, Swiss model of goverance may not be a bad thing...but it fks the ANCs vision of a "sucessful" Marxist state And just to put to bed the ANCs myth about "their" land...and the often quote line about "the settlers must leave"...who exactly are the "settlers" then ?.... The advancing Bantu encroached on the Khoikhoi territory, forcing the original inhabitants of the region to move to more arid areas. Some of the migrant groups, ancestral to today's Nguni peoples (the Zulu, Xhosa, Swazi, and Ndebele), preferred to live near the eastern coast of what is present-day South Africa.

Is it possible that there is a missing letter in the spelling of the good captains name ?  Or has something been lost in the translation ?  |

‘We want police stations to close at six o’clock in the evening for security reasons" Why not, in the Gold Reef area of Johannesburg the fish and chip shops close around that time, as it's not safe to stay open later. FFS, fish & chip shops closing for dinner time.

FFS, fish & chip shops closing for dinner time. But the Gold Reef/Crown Mines area of JHB is fking bandit territory once the sun goes down Tony, and it a shame, there is / was a theme park called Gold Reef City contructed on what was one of richest gold shafts in the world..dont know if its still there...but a good day/evening out post script..
