Real struggle. Tracking AF was crap. 95% went straight to focus on the background rather than the foreground, even when set up correctly. It may soon be replaced with the A7rII which was announced today, depending on reviews and a test drive. |

Used the Sony Zeiss FE 35mm f/1.4, Sony Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 and the Sony G 70-200 f/4 OSS.
The glass is superb. The camera isn't.

The colour, sharpness and contrast looks top notch, the photos are good too.
If you plan on buying the new camera maybe rent one out for the day to test, before committing.

It's either an A7rII or hang on for the A9 which should be announced around the end of the year.
