Well, let this Dutch uncle tell you some about your English literature. "Constant reference is also made to 'archie.' Most people know by now that this was not an old friend whom we called by his Christian name. There was nothing friendly about archie. On the contrary, he often bit you when you were least expecting it, but on the whole his bark was worse than his bite. Archie was the war-pilot's nick-name for anti-aircraft gun-fire. During the War archie batteries stretched from the North Sea to the Swiss Frontier;* his appearance in the sky was accepted as a matter of course, and dodging him was part of the daily round. After a time one became accustomed to it and ignored it unless it was very bad." From The Camels are coming by Captain W.E. Johns img1.fantasticfiction.co.uk/images/n10/n53991.jpgPS just to answer your next question: 2.bp.blogspot.com/-cTSPBXRl3FY/TxxJbJgGMAI/AAAAAAAACes/_hUzTfW_0-Y/s1600/Camel_02.jpg

Better known to you and me as Lawrence of Arabia. No, no, no! archeologieonline.nl/sites/default/files/imagecache/groot/afbeeldingen/lawrence_of_arabia.jpgAs everybody knows Lawrence was only a motorcycle fanatic. To the death as it were. He and his mates also liked to drink the odd gin it would seem, but who can blame them stuck in the desert as they were. "Gin bottles, spent cartridges found in desert encampment Almost 100 years before T. E. Lawrence returned to civilian life, a secret desert camp used by him - under his more famous nom de plume of "Lawrence of Arabia" has been found intact. Located in modern-day Jordan, the encampment was still littered with spent cartridges and broken gin bottles. Thanks to an RAF pilot's vaguely-sketched map, a team of archaeologists were able to find it - along with all of its historical treasures." www.catholic.org/news/international/middle_east/story.php?id=54664

^^^^, I take with a large dose of salt anything that has the name catholic in it.
Maybe never been to the northern paradise town of Tabuk where the railway is still intact. Maybe never been to the Turkish fort in the Asir region. Maybe never been to the Jewish cemetaries in the south of the Kingdom. Maybe never been to Marthas tomb in Jeddah.

^^^^, Daily Mail link, not allowed to be viewed here in Bkk. But yes i can believe it. I almost forgot that. I thought the site was blocked. Maybe unblocked again? I guess I have to warn True as I'm using a true move H SIM in my Aerostick for a GRPS connection, here in Bangkok. I mean we wouldn't want innocent people here to browse websites like the Daily Something

As an aside regarding the Daily Wail.
Amusing to note that certain T.V. stations here actually show news video clips from the Daily Wail in the U.K..
Surely those stations are not breaking the law are they by circumnavigating the laws by using a proxy to download the clips then transmitting those clips and corrupt the good citizens who maybe viewing the transmission at that time?
Ooop's forgot what about copyright matters and the acknowledging of the source?
Oh well, never mind this is Thailand.

Our work's ISP is 3BB and the Daily Wail is not blocked now but it was in the recent past. Maybe the blocking was lifted when someone in power realized that the Daily Wail has as much of a reputation for reporting facts as the Beano, in other words to believe anything that they print requires a second source as a verification.

Ballard, Douglas Adams, the duo Grant and Naylor?
