Put the reservation down on our new, to be built, condo. Believe me, we needed this. Our current condo is small if you are living alone, much less with two people and the frequent mother in law visits. We are gonna have to wait two years on the construction, but we both really like the area down there at Phraek Sa BTS.

Hopefully i can get that up tomorrow. Took a trip down to kheha bts and managed to have a lot of fun. I even checked in on the outrageous "wheelchair ramp to nowhere" story that hit the presses a while back. The thing is my wife needs to have her passport renewed so if i get slogged to that place the new vid wont be up. And no i will not make a video about that place (as if someone would request that) . I have been in there before... I think i have enjoyed 15 hour flights more.

Edit.. Coke in a glass, not come in a glass. Bloody Spellcheck is a my worst enema.

Tangerines, , very hi so, leftovers from Chinese New Year were they? We only have about 3 cups. There is a great story behind that one actually. My wife, who is a saint of sorts and would never even think of "lifting" something, she saw a sign at ikea that said something like "free glass with a purchase of meatballs and drink". Well, she misinterpreted the sign, bought the meal with a drink, and stuck that cup in her purse as we were leaving . She really thought that was the deal. Haha. I loved it, that woulda been another blog worthy moment. So much for our refinement. Speaking of blog worthy, we went to do the passport today, drove to three locations in taxis, almost witnessed a person get run over in a crosswalk, finally found the passport office and it was closed for a holiday... and at that point i decided, this is blog worthy!! (as if my regular blogs have some sort of quality threshold ). Ill polish that vlog off tomorrow after we, hopefully, get her passport.

PS, tell your mrs to get one of those ikea cards, free refills, my mrs has one. The meatballs are disgusting.

Thanya Park Srinakarin Rd is where you need to be for the passport. Yes today is a holiday. Ha. We finally stumbled upon it in all its empty, shutdowness. We are heading back tomorrow. Time for a drink. I gotta say, we did this process about five years ago and I think there was a problem back then or something. We showed up at central at 5am and it was packed with a winding line. There was a guy holding a sign at the end of the line "end of line here". That is how packed and confusing it was! I am thinking looking at Thanay it is not like that anymore. Not sure what we had run into last time. I get the vegie meatballs. I don't think theynare half bad. I joke everytime to her that ikea makes better curry than Thai people . She loves that.

Thanks for reminding me, will need to ask the mrs to check her passport. I remember Centran well, a PITA to get to, were you at the office on the ground floor by the carpark, if so you were lucky, when it was on the fifth floor it was a madhouse. Thanya Park is walk in the park.

We renew the wife and kids passports in Sydney these days (conveniently the embassy had arranged for them to expire on the same day), but I do remember trying to sort them in udon about the time the red shirts were throwing rocks. After hours of searching various addresses we finally found the right one, only to find it burnt to the ground.

We talked to a vendor who said thursdays are slow so we decided to go tomorrow...
