A heavy goods vehicle, carrying large amounts of cheese overturned on the M20 today. A police witness claimed "the driver was pronounced dead on the scene, we're not sure what nationality he was, but he looked Kurdish" I guess that means he wasn't transporting hard stuff but more the like of chemical weapons. Maybe a religious man carrying a load of Bishops?

Putin must have some deep dirt on Donald, I'm sure we'll get sight of it one day. Personally I really, really hope never to get sight of it: Trump's being urinated on by three Russian hookers in an hotel room. I congratulate Trump. Three of them is an achievement. This mate of mine who goes in for that sort of thing says in Pattaya he has been unable to find one.

Who are the Kurds? I found this an interesting read. It's in the link below, certainly does lift the curtain a lot more and tells who or what Kurds are. Note they were promised a land of their own but that promise was reneged on and another bunch were given a land of their own (That land was is actually stolen property though) www.pri.org/stories/2019-10-08/who-are-kurds?utm_medium=email&utm

Global music chairs, when the music stops you had better have a country otherwise you have no chance, nobody wants to self divide and give up space to others.

"EU finds agreement on Turkey (but only just) UK wanted softer language but was eventually persuaded to back the bloc’s condemnation. The European Union found unity on Turkey on Monday — but the U.K. needed a lot of persuading to join in. The bloc's foreign ministers pledged to suspend weapons exports to Turkey in response to an incursion into northern Syria, but stopped short of implementing a formal EU-wide arms embargo. They also condemned Turkey's "military action" in Syria and Ankara's drilling for oil and gas off the coast of Cyprus. But the consensus was delayed by Turkey's old ally, the U.K., which wanted softer language, much to the annoyance of Federica Mogherini, the EU's outgoing foreign policy chief, and her successor Josep Borrell, according to three diplomats." www.politico.eu/article/eu-finds-agreement-on-turkey-but-only-just-bloc-foreign-ministers-incursion-north-syria/As some here seem to think politico.eu a bit suspect let's check the Telegraph: From the Telegraph, 2019-10-14 "Britain accused of putting trade deals before condemnation of Turkey Britain was left isolated and facing condemnation by close allies last night after ministers defended Turkey's attack on Kurdish-controlled northern Syria and attempted to block EU criticism of it. Ben Wallace, the defence secretary, shocked delegates at a Nato meeting in London when he said: “Turkey needs to do what it sometimes has to do to defend itself”. Meanwhile, European diplomats reacted with disbelief when the UK allegedly resisted language condemning the Turkish action at a meeting of EU Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg." www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/10/14/britain-accused-putting-trade-deals-condemnation-turkey/

Just some speculation:
Turkey is a valued NATO member. What if the fight in Syria escalates a wee bit and Turkey asks it's NATO partners for help? The NATO Treaty has some text about helping each other and any straight refusal could blow up NATO. Any reluctance and delay would also not help NATO coherence. Tricky!
