There had been warnings sadly unheeded that supporters of ISIS were about to target Thailand. Perhaps if the authorities looked a little closer at the southern borders as well as the locals as opposed to those dangerous retired westerners and their health insurance the south might become a safer healthier place.

In an era where the media are deliberately obfuscating, on a massive scale, the ethnic origin and religious proclivities of attackers, one needs to resort to deductive reasoning to get an approximation to the way things are.

What is perfectly obvious is this has ZERO to do with ISIS.

In this era there's also a lot of immediate accusations and hang-them-high attitude.
