I am not being abusive but when anyone becomes the self-appointed spokesperson for a generation I tend to switch off (especially when the spokesperson is sixteen years old). More especially when this person is pointing the finger at another entire "generation". What currently is the definition of a "generation"? 15 years? 30 years? Could she be a touch more specific and state the age group that is having the finger pointed at them. And are any individual groups specifically included or excluded? Presumably graduates would be included (even those from humble beginnings), you know if she was to read the harrowing stories of early lives that were on this forum not too long ago, she wouldn't believe them. And in fairness those with learning disabilities should be told they are excluded in case they are losing sleep due to anxiety attacks. Come on Greta. Has she ever responded to any naysayer propaganda? When you were her age you were probably a decent youngster who was always listening to his elders, not a wrong word or thought? Obviously you weren't a Teddy Boy. I always wanted to be a teddy boy but I wasn't hard enough and when I was old enough it changed briefly to mods and rockers.

Well with your ongoing litany of anti this anti that I am always right posts you are a shining example of how multi ethnic societies do not mix very well. Most of my posts seem to correct misconceptions, blatant lies, conspiracy theories. If you think that I'm anti-lies you're correct.

Now being as this so well informed creature is a lover of things natural pray can it be explained why she is wearing a rain coat made of all plastic petroleum based materials as well as metal? There are many other freely available natural materials that one could and should, according to her ideas be made from the skins of previously eaten animals or natural materials made from plant and other assorted naturally freely available non pollutant materials. Banana leaves woven grass etc, the list of natural resources is endless, Why hasn't or why wont she revert to the simple clothing materials used by primitive peoples Surely not double standards my dear girl!!!

That was the seventies and I had numerous pairs of flares (seems strange now to see the spelling), suits, jeans and ordinary kecks. Smart as firk I was.

But enough of me. Did the tulip shaggers have teds etc. I'm probably a wee bit younger than you, turning 15 in 1970. Since I grew up near Arnhem there wasn't much activity like in the western part of the Netherlands and around Universities there. BTW on the 25th of August 1970 a group of men from the Netherlands Marine Corps cleaned the 'Monument on the Dam' area of hippies. In 1980 I had a former Marine as instructor, he told me it had been real fun although it didn't do his record much good.
