Hows your pension fund coming along? mine has been trashed. Swimmingly rgs...can't beat a global pandemic when you're on the front line....mercenaries in war and all that.

Pension fund.....now -3.4% to June 2019, if you're down 15% rgs that's not good. CM, it is what it is, too be honest, I thought I was doing rather well compared to the UK FTSE, which is down 20%. Should be mentioned, I am down 15% from last years highs, not on my initial investment price. I remember years ago as a young wet behind the ears expat, sitting in the hotel lounge after dinner, some old china hand was telling another new to the scene expat, if you cannot handle exchange rates, expat life may not be for you. I applied the same philosophy to investments if you cant handle the highs and lows, the stockmarket may not be for you, I went into it with eyes wide open, I dont kid myself. Too be honest, where else is there to put my money I ask myself, not interested in property, precious metals, crypto currencies or magic beans. I dabbled in individual blue chip companies for a while, but over the years have gone back to my roots, investment trusts.
