Plenty wine here in Alcatraz and my sentence just got increased to January with enhanced compensation on my release. Oh well looks like I've escaped the virus almost completely. Have you seen Emily Maitlis in her bikini yet ? I missed something here, surely. Did the BBC sent her to the Shetlands Penal Colony? If she pops up in bikini she's certainly braver than good old smokes who dipped his toe and is still shivering.

Nowhere worth going to at the minute, home sweet home is as good as anywhere else. The announcement re bar openings (or not) seems to be due on Saturday. I think I've gone past caring, looks like May will pass with the consumption of 16 units of alcohol. Well thats a bummer, lets make a date for May next year for a one in a row p**s up. At least it wont be a "tainted tiltle" and "sporting integrity" will have been observed. Cathedral Place/whatever back in stock, still 215 baht, also plenty of Yorkie roast topside. Not much else happening, The Swan and a few others open for tea and sandwiches.

Owning up they call it I think. "Romania's Orban breaches own coronavirus rules, pays fine Romanian Prime Minister Ludovic Orban paid a 3,000 lei fine ($690) on Saturday for breaking his own coronavirus restrictions by not wearing a face mask and smoking indoors, state news agency Agerpres said. A picture which went viral on social media shows Orban in his office, sitting around a table with several other cabinet members, smoking a cigarette while none of them wore masks. Their masks were thrown on the table. In a statement, Orban acknowledged breaching the rules, saying some cabinet members gathered at his office after a long working day on May 25, his 57th birthday. “The prime minister knows rules must be obeyed by all citizens, regardless of their position. If the law is broken then sanctions must be enforced,” the agency quoted the statement as saying." uk.reuters.com/article/uk-health-coronavirus-romania-pm/romanias-orban-breaches-own-coronavirus-rules-pays-fine-idUKKBN2360RU?feedType=RSS&feedName=worldNews

I would dip my wick but never my toe. That's truly heroic! At the beach on your knees with (latex) speedo down and dipping your wick. A sight one would never forget (and keep having nightmares about)

All those Frenchmen paddling across the Channel with no checks. Stephen Kinnock travels from Aberystwyth to London to tell his dad happy birthday, and Labour ex Front Bencher travels by train from London to Manchester by train while Covid 19 positive. But the left wing media goes nuts over Cummings.

The British lockdown started on Monday, the 23rd of March.

Well, I guess Dominic C.'s work is done and now it's up to others. A bit like the good works of Nigel F. "Boris Johnson boots out top adviser Dominic Cummings Source says aide’s instant departure came after he was accused of briefing against PM ... Grant Shapps, the transport secretary, said Cummings was leaving because both the mass testing programme and Brexit were “on the near-term horizon now”. He told Sky News: “He will be missed, but then again we’re moving into a different phase.” ..." www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/nov/13/dominic-cummings-has-already-left-job-at-no-10-reports
