A bit like the "we serve Vegemite sandwiches" signs around Bangkok back in the eighties. I had to resort to Urban Dictionary to find out what "Vegemite sandwich" means. According to UD it's a term for getting one's ass licked. (I presume that's American for "arse", rather than one's donkey.) This rather changes my understanding of the Men at Work song "Downunder" with the lyrics "Buying bread from a man in Brussels/He was six foot four and full of muscles/I said, Do you speak-a my language?/He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich". |

A Vegemite sandwich was a threesome between one white farang and two dark Thais.
Although in my way of thinking that would be a reverse Vegemite sandwich.
