So Musk is not even allowed to make a casual observation in public by saying the price is too high He is not. He is not a private citizen; he is the CEO of Tesla. He has a responsibility to his shareholders. By saying the price is too high he is betraying those shareholders. He is also breaking the law. Any statement he makes, even if it is a "casual observation" should be carefully vetted by lawyers first. The poor man. I hope he runs for president, at very least we should make him a moderator on BM.

"Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest Management expects Tesla Inc. stock to hit $3,000 by 2025, up from its current price of $655. At that price, the company would be worth almost $3 trillion, based on the number of shares outstanding. Wood has been among Tesla’s most ardent supporters, holding large stakes of the company in her flagship fund. When Tesla shares saw a pullback in February, she bought more. According to Ark’s new model, in the best case scenario, Tesla could reach $4,000 per share in 2025, and in the bear case, $1,500. The company forecasts Tesla’s unit sales to be between 5 million and 10 million vehicles in 2025, assuming increased capital efficiency. The $3,000 target is far higher than any analyst who covers the company, the highest being $1,200 among estimates compiled by Bloomberg". www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-03-20/cathie-wood-s-ark-has-a-new-price-target-for-tesla-3-000?srnd=premium-asiaYou heard it here first, go fill your boots. ^^^ Well, she would say that, wouldn't she. Anything to encourage people to pile into her ETFs.
Of course, she could be right. Markets may remain completely delusional for another five years.

Other responders guessed that the share price might hit $1,200, it's unlikely they all have ETF's also.

Tesla Deliveries Smash Expectations on Reception in China “We are encouraged by the strong reception of the Model Y in China and are quickly progressing to full production capacity,” the company said. The new Model S and Model X have also been “exceptionally well received,” it said, adding that it’s in the early stages of ramping production. Tesla Inc. delivered more cars than expected in the first quarter, a strong start to a year in which Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk will be scaling global operations and building two more factories. www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-04-02/tesla-delivers-184-800-cars-in-1q-on-strong-reception-in-china?srnd=premium-asiaI guess the Chinese don't read roadandtrack!....arf arf.

"Tesla has posted the biggest profit in its history after the world’s most valuable carmaker sold a record number of vehicles and shrugged off the chip crisis facing much of the industry. Elon Musk’s company revealed profits of $438m (£315m) for the first three months of the year, more than 30pc above its previous record six months ago". When asked how AyG might respond to the news, Elon replied, "he'll have to get over it, we're the future, not the past", it's a brave new world out there. www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2021/04/26/tesla-posts-biggest-ever-profit-record-electric-car-sales/
