The best version of this you will ever hear.

Been meaning to post this up on the forum for quite sometime. It's been a bit of a weird old summer back here in the U.K. if you know what i mean. It was quite a hot day and i was in the kitchen and it was just one of those moments when you just turn around and think what the hell was that. Funnily it was the new advert for Corona beer and so i did a bit of digging. If you like the kind of music were you just want to sit down with a beer, watch the sun go down and let the world go by, then take a pew. Btw, when i actually noticed the name of the band, i got intrigued to it's origins. Turns out its Thai, meaning flying machine, so i'm told.

You were told correctly, เครื่อง means machine
บิน means to fly. The thai word for an aeroplane.
I was reading another forum the other day when the purists were getting into it, they seem to think you can take two words and put them together and translate back to english to get the meaning, eg สนาม sanam, บิน bin, in thai it means airport, i have never been anywhere that has a field that can fly. unless of course its a flying carpet i saw in the middle east. flying field my ass, but this is the drivel thats post4ed elsewhere.
Anyway, back to TF, the mrs had this blasting out the other day, must admit, not my cuppa char, and had never heard of it.
Too be honest it was a welcome change from the usual scorpions rubbish she has blasting out.
To think Santana made a career out of ripping this guy off.

Just stumbled over this lot, never heard of them before. Spirogyra are a British folk/prog band that recorded three albums between 1971 and 1973, with further original albums in 2009 and 2011. Martin Cockerham (vocals/guitar) and Mark Francis originally formed Spirogyra as a duo in Bolton, Lancashire in the summer of 1967[1]. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirogyra_(band)Spirogyra = St. Radiguns - 1971- (Full Album) - Old Boot Wine -1972 Super RARI.
