Are there now degrees of lies, I never knew. "Little white lies" rings a bell?

Which one would you suggest is a little white lie?
"I didn't invite my supporters to riot" - Trump
"Saddam has weapons of mass destruction" - Bush
"I didn't have sex with that woman" - Clinton
"I didn't know anything about the Watergate burglary: - Nixon
"I'm opposed to intervention to help the British" - Roosevelt
If it helps at all, a little white lie is defined thusly:
M-W defines “white lie” as “a lie about a small or unimportant matter that someone tells to avoid hurting another person.” That's similar to the American Heritage definition: “An often trivial, diplomatic or well-intentioned untruth.”

None. Still grouping them suggest a similar severity for all those lies which only distracts from Trump's insurrection.
Of course, some reborn Christians might condemn Bill Clinton more as he acted against the Lord's Laws whereas Trump only against some human made constitution.
Mind you, "to understand all is to forgive all"

^^| Satisfying? Well, that depends on how you see it PS No, I didn't 'make' this. I saw it this morning in my email, from my old friend in Sydney.

Hidden messages....if this had been rural natives in a third world emerging nation I would have said, that's par for the course....but the USA, dear God! "That resilience in false belief was apparent among some QAnon followers on Wednesday. They took solace in the number of flags placed on the dais when Trump gave farewell remarks from a military base before departing on Air Force One: there were 17, which followers interpreted as a secret message to them, since “Q” is the 17th letter of the alphabet". www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jan/20/qanon-biden-inauguration-trump-antisemitism-white-nationalism

I love this, what better way to take out an entire extremist right-wing group at one fell swoop than to let it be known he's a cooperator with the FBI et al.....whoosh went his entire life. "Enrique Tarrio, the chairman of the Proud Boys, a far-right nationalist group that is a major target of the sprawling investigation into the riot at the Capitol this month, has a history of cooperating with law enforcement, according to court records and a former prosecutor. The stunning revelation that Mr. Tarrio, who leads one of the country’s most notorious extremist groups, helped the F.B.I. and local police departments go after more than a dozen criminal defendants about a decade ago was first reported by Reuters on Wednesday". www.nytimes.com/2021/01/27/nyregion/proud-boys-informant-enrique-tarrio.html

It comes as no surprise that Trump was found not guilty by the Senate. But then afterwards Mitch McConnel publically rips Trump a new one and accuses him of all the crimes he was just cleared of, the premise being that you can't impeach an ex-President. Trump's response was predictable, he celebrated with a rousing chorus of We've Only just Begun. Hypocrisy abounds, let's hope the civil authorities do the job the government wasn't willing to do.

Oh yeah the republicans are nuts enough to give him the nomination again in 4 years time when he's 81...oh yeah hahaha The risk is the alternate party that he might form or that one of his devil seed sprogs might be heavily promoted and become a candidate, President Ivanka or Pres. Don Jnr are both possibilities, especially knowing how gullible the voting electorate is.

Oh yeah the republicans are nuts enough to give him the nomination again in 4 years time when he's 81...oh yeah hahaha Unless you're using some special form of "Republican math", he'll only be 78. (He's 74 now.) Still, with any luck, by then he'll be behind bars - not that being a convicted felon would actually stop him from running for office again. And 78 is Biden's current age.
