I took my kid to see our first "tribute band" tonight. The "ELO tribute band". I've seen some bad karaoke but this one took the cake. We walked out as soon as they opened the doors at half time, bugger the $160 ticket price.
Thought my wife was joking when she said she wanted to see a Monkees tribute band in Switzerland. Then I saw her face, now I’m in Geneva.

Went to see a tribute band called Prevention. They were actually better than The Cure.

Funny old weekend. What happened with Man City, for months they were nobodies and now they look unassailable, well almost. Shows what a bit of a good run can do for you. Ending today hopefully!!
