The Outback Way is 2700km from Laverton WA to Winton Qld- the third transnational link, from Coast to Coast through the heart of the nation. I wonder if anyone told them planes have been invented.
It might be a nice drive to Ayers Rock. Not sure I'd bother going any further. Problem is once you arrive at the other end you still gotta get back.
