I may start a thread in the "Rest of the World" forum for what looks like being a voting minority of Scottish Republicans. They do not want the UK, the EU does not want them, so where else for them.?

By one seat  ...imho its healthy for Scotland...and the greens easily push it over the 50%. A referendum in 2-3 years is my prediction. |

So will we get an Independent Scottish News thread? If so, how are we to interpret that 'independence'? Will it be like "not leaning towards left, right, others" but be objective and truthful (as far as humanly possible) ?

If we have a scotish new thread it will just be full of stuff like who bashed who in the Gorbals and who is laying who....and who else is (if they have the space to fit all that) no one will read it as they have replace reading with breeding there.
No cheek or i will get my blonde friend to kick your doors down at one minute past midnight on New Years Eve.

I was actually referring to the number of votes cast and I didn't and don't know the figures so I hedged by saying looks like. In my mind 49.9% is still a minority and 50.1% a majority. No doubt Krankie and her nodding dogs will differ. |

Possibly a bit harsh on the Gorbals, the earlier slums were demolished in the 60s and replaced by new slums which were demolished in the 90s. Not sure what it's like now but unlikely to be home to sociopathic, Celtic supporting criminals like those who gave the place it's reputation and notoriety. |

I assume that with an eye on the 'brexit referendum' and it's, ehm, success Mrs. Sturgeon and her SNP will first gather info on all related concerns, issues before calling a new independence referendum. She might like to give voters a more informed choice than they had been given with the 'brexit' one in 2016.
