I wish twats including imm themselves would cease referring to the extension of permission to stay as a visa.

Hot again, anyone ever been to the Cameron Highlands or Dalat these months. Thinking of next year, same as the last few years.

I wish twats including imm themselves would cease referring to the extension of permission to stay as a visa. Twats. Hot again, anyone ever been to the Cameron Highlands or Dalat these months. Thinking of next year, same as the last few years. The rainy season is or at least should be upon us. why would you move and miss out on all the fun? Yesterday sat on the veranda (porch?) for a while with my dog and a can of beer. About 18:45 when the rain started it was real nice.  |

We had a torrential downpour of biblical proportions, it lasted all of six minutes - just enough to save me having to water the grass but just enough to where I'll have to cut it, again, tomorrow. Not quite enough for the farmers or the water table. |

Northern rain isn't like the rain the fairies in Bangkok and the South get, our rain is real mens rain, great big hairy drops, the size of a small car some of them, each weighing many many kilo's. You wouldn't understand, you're a Southerner, ask Steve, he's a northerner, he knows. |

Not quite enough for the farmers or the water table. Almost immediately on my return from the Riviera yesterday there was a 3 minute torrential downpour. The other news is that today is 35, tomorrow will be 36 and Friday 37. Further news is that Europeans are coming here to cool off. |

If you want to know what rain really is, do a 2 week exercise at Sennybridge Training Area in mid-November.
four day exfiltration exercise in October 1980 East part of the Netherlands trying to sleep in your gear on the wet ground with your tent-half as cover and on the move in the still wet night did it for me. The December exercise with -15C was easy, only the frozen bread and icy coffee in the morning less so. |

Yet another good reason to join an armored corp. None of this getting soaked whilst carrying huge packs, the worst we experienced was the odd case of motion sickness. Oh, and getting crushed to death by sleeping under the tank on wet ground, but you can't have it all I suppose.
