1973 my last year in highschool. Preparing for examinations, starting to wonder what next If my memory serves me well, I believe that what next was 1974. Not much really happened that year. ... obnoxious picture removed ... In 1974 I spent a fortnight in England. Stood at Land's End and wondered what lay beyond the horizon. In Dover waiting for the ferry I did have a last pint of bitter trying not to look at the television. Had another pint (or two I think). Only English around, I'm afraid I might have blamed them as there were no Germans around. Had another pint. Did you find out what was beyond the horizon from Lands End? I think it might be Antartica?

Rumour has it that there should be some green land. At least Leif told me his father Eric the Red had magnificent stories about the few years there (being banned from Iceland for a while).

No one even close on Q41, so:
A41: Sing (Sing a song) was written for the signature tune of Sesame Street, so the original artists were 'The cast of Sesame Street'. Subsequent versions on Sesame Street included a sign language version of the song, a Spanish version and it was also on Bert & Ernie's sing along album, which was performed in Bert & Ernie's bathroom.
So, now you know.

I think if you stand on Lands End and look towards the horizon, the first land mass you'll see, eventually, is the antarctic. Greenland is in the opposite direction but I'm not a Dutch explorer so what would I know. BTW didn't the Dutch discover some where or other, was it Germany?
