May you find peace, children, teachers and families... Sopha was watching the news on CH31 this morning. They said that although the bus looked new with the paint job. It's registration documents show it was about 50 years old. The driver ran but later gave himself up to the police. |

Some noises are being made about improving safety, maintenance, safety training, and enforcement of the law but up in the Nakhon I doubt there's any changes. They could start with crash helmets, got to start somewhere. Also with properly tracing the trail of corruption in this case and prosecuting. Just stating the obvious again. |

The long and short of this horrendous accident is the fact these innocent children and their 3 teachers were ''murdered'' by and as a result of state officials corruption plus the actions of a deceitful bus operator. The driver although guilty to a degree does not and should not be used as the the scapegoat for rest of the despicable scum to escape justice...

There's too many buses built on truck chassis, this one had Mercedes stickers, but built on an Isuzu truck chassis. |
